Plains Floor & Window Covering was founded in 1977 and was purchased by current owner Derik Myers in 2012. Owner Derik Myers moved from Pennsylvania out to Wyoming to enjoy its many marvels. He started as an installer working for local businesses, including Plains Floor and Window Covering and former Owner Helen Knapp. Plains has been a long-standing business in Fremont County and has served the needs of many. Since Derik purchased the business, small changes have been made, like remodeling all four showrooms and becoming a Shaw Aligned Dealer.

We are located in the center of downtown Riverton across the street from the post office and in between Mirror Image and Rock Solid.

The owner is a former board member of the Reach Foundation.
We are a founding member of CATS (Center of Arts, Technology, and Science) museum.

We service Riverton, Lander, Hudson, Shoshoni, Thermopolis, Dubois, Kinnear, Pavillion, Arapahoe, Fort Washakie, Crowheart, Lysite, Farson, Hiland, Jeffrey City, Moran, and Saint Stephens, WY.

We find that vinyl planks are very popular in our area due to their resiliency.
